About Iron Infusions

Iron sucrose infusions deliver iron directly into the bloodstream. Iron is a crucial component of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. HOW LONG DOES AN IRON INFUSION TAKE? 

An iron infusion can only be done at the office and can take up to 3 to 4 hours.
